Hello and welcome to our practice! We are so glad that you have decided to trust us with your gynecologic care. In order for us to have a smooth working relationship, there are a few things we need for you to know about how this office runs.
First of all, Dr. Jones is a Christian board certified obstetrician gynecologist who at this time only practices outpatient gynecology. In the event you require obstetrical care or surgical care you will be referred to one of her colleagues.
All patients are required to show their insurance card and proper identification at the time of their visit. Arriving without your insurance card will require you to be rescheduled.
Dr. Jones is very aware that everyone's time is precious and so we do strive to run our office on schedule. Therefore, if you are late for your appointment, you might still be able to be seen, however, you will need to be reworked into the schedule. This may result in a delay on your part. If you are 15 minutes or more late, we may have to ask you to reschedule.
New patients, and those who are returning after a three year absence, need to arrive at the office no later than 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so that your chart can be put into the system. Failure to do so may result in your appointment being rescheduled. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we ask that this be done no later than 48 hours in advance so that the appointment can be rebooked with another waiting patient. Failure to do so, or failure to show for a visit will result in you being billed $25.00 for returning patients, $50 for new patients, which must be paid prior to making another appointment.
For the sake of your safety, no calls are accepted after office hours for routine prescriptions (including a request for antibiotics for uncomplicated infections. i.e. UTI's or vaginitis). We will strive to respond to your request within 24 hours of your call.
